Bilingual Psychiatrist | Founder of Intrinsic Me™

HA Colón-Rivera, MD, MBA, FAPA

I founded Intrinsic Me™ Psychiatry after years of watching the same individuals come through my door.

One patient was a man who had kept his family and job afloat without seeking help for himself, dismissing his struggles as simply "being tired." He only reached out for care when everything began to fall apart.

Another was a woman who witnessed her loved one fading into silence and distance. She often came in alone, bearing both her pain and his.

They needed a provider who understood not just the clinical symptoms but also the pride that prevents seeking help and the loyalty that complicates leaving.

While our care model is evidence-based, it centers on the whole person rather than just symptoms or rushed visits.

Ready to reclaim your sense of self?

If you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck, Intrinsic Me™ Psychiatry offers structured, personalized mental health care designed to help you restore balance & move forward.

We offer a safe clinical space to think clearly, process your burdens, & rebuild inwardly, free from judgment, pressure, or expectations.

Healing begins within.
